About the creation of this website

Whatsthisword.com is one of the oldest English-language websites about crossword puzzle solutions. Since 2008, with the help of many diligent visitors, a large database of crossword clues and solutions has been created. At the moment there are several hundred thousand clues in the database as well as several million solutions to these clues.
